Mammoth Production’s current business activities are mainly in the two areas music studio and sound equipment.
Our History
Mammoth Production was a DJ booking agency from day one when it was founded in 1988. We started with the live music booking and promotion later the same year. For a period around 1991-1993, we also created some of the first radio commercials to be broadcast on licensed radio stations in Sweden. Today, that is more of an anecdote and the focus is 100 % on music.
Live Music Artist Booking Agent
We have acted as tour booking agent and promoter for a string of artists. Live acts from our early years includes: Inner Circle, Mad Professor, Mighty Diamonds, A Tribe Called Quest, The Skatalites, and The Specials. Reggae and hip hop acts have been strongly represented. Yet, several artists in other genres have also worked with us for their tours. In addition to live music artists, we have also done other stage and event productions. Mammoth Production has also been involved with promoting The Swedish DJ Championship and other events that are not traditional concerts.
Disc Jockey Booking Agency
The DJs booked by Mammoth Production stretched from elite level electronica DJs, through scratching turntabalists, to crowd pleasing party DJs. Mammoth Production’s booking agency provided deejays booked for venues on a weekly basis for ten years in the same night clubs as resident DJs. We also provided DJ:s for one-nighters at nightclubs, discotheques and music festivals for twenty years. The DJ:s we represented also played at fashion shows and other special events.
